Ego

I am lost when I long for you. Writing this makes it worse. In more than one way I desire sleep and illusion.

Time to go Home

Late and starting to rain,
it's time to go home.
We've wandered long enough
in empty buildings.
I know it's tempting to stay
and meet those new people.
I know it's even more sensible
to spend the night here with them,
but I want to go home.

We've seen enough beautiful places
with signs on them saying
This is God's House. That's seeing the
grain like the ants do,
without the work of harvesting.
Let's leave grazing to cows and go
where we know what everyone really intends,
where we can walk around without clothes on.

Sweeping

As in not. And I stick by that promise.

Stop being so religious

What
Do sad people have in
Common?

It seems
They have all built a shrine
To the past

And often go there
And do a strange wail and
Worship.

What is the beginning of
Happiness?

It is to stop being
So religious

Like

That.

Which is why I'm here now.

kept for posterity

Looking across the Warhol Bridge in Pittsburgh.
Hiya! It might interest you to know that since I moved my ISP, server, and domain name registration the links to the podcast files no longer work. If you are interested in listening to the episodes, let me know. Otherwise there really is no point to keeping this blog up except that I can't bring myself to delete it. And that may happen one day.

7: graffiti graffito

I'm baa-aack! I know – it's been over a year. Thanks for waiting! Here's tonight's poem: graffiti graffito. I'm not sure what its about. Probably the creative process or poetry or the mushy mushy thing called life. Have a thought? Let me know!

There may be an mp3 later, or not.
